Artist Michael Mentler Joins Vosler Young Artists' Studio, A Classical Atelier, Advisory Board

We are excited to add consummate artist and fine art instructor, Michael Mentler, to our Vosler Young Artists' Studio Advisory Board.  We met Michael at a Portrait Society of America Conference and discovered we both had a passion for teaching.  A vivid conversation ensued and we have been talking ever since about teaching the young artist.

Michael Mentler of Dallas, TX, is the Founder and Director of the Society of Figurative Arts.  http://tsofa.com/ He studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Layton School of Art in Milwaukee and Washington University in Saint Louis, where he taught figure drawing and design. Michael's work has been featured in Saint Louis magazine, Communication Arts, Art Direction, Graphis, American Artist Drawing Magazine in a feature article titled "Learn From The Sketchbooks of a Modern Day Leonardo." Michael has also been featured in Juliette Aristides', Lessons in Classical Drawing (Essential Techniques From Inside the Atelier).
