Vosler Young Artists' Studio Adds Puyallup, Washington to Summer Teen Workshop Offering

Vosler Young Artist Studio offering a Summer Workshop for Teens in Puyallup, Washington.

Western Washington will be the site of a new summer teen workshop location in August 2015.  The historic town of Puyallup, Washington, is the home of the famous Western Washington Puyallup State Fair in the shadow of Mount Rainer

Puyallup is also the ancestral home of the Vosler Young Artists' Studio founders, Jim and Kerry Vosler.  Their one-acre homestead is to be their new summer studio site. The property is as lovely as a park with its one hundred Rhododendrons and tall fir trees.  Grandma Vosler can tell you all their names! Bringing the classical skills' based program to young artists has always been a dream of Kerry Vosler.  Kerry writes, "Young artists are very capable of learning to draw and are serious about their art."

There has been a huge shift in America's Art world in the past decade.  There a many more Ateliers or Classical Art Schools for artists.  This new dynamic has provided many more opportunities for artists.  But they lack a feeder program like in sports, music and dance.  Enter the Vosler Young Artists' Studio.  Our main goal is too provide young artists with fundamental skills before the age of 18.  For those artists who wish to do serious art studies we assist them in portfolio development and finding the best higher educational fit for them.

How can students benefit from classical drawing?  Many of our students will take different paths.  Some will continue art studies outside of a different career.  No matter what they do this type of training teachings problem solving and critical thinking skills.  Beneficial to any career choice.
The landscape of computer animation has changed everything.  But as companies like Blizzard seek to add more realism to their games they also require traditionally trained artists.
